Greetings from Uganda! This place is SO amazing, i can't even believe that i am here! Our team has been here for a week and we are staying at the Discovery Center based in Jinja, which is a 3 minute walk from the YWAM base! This place is so green, exactly how Africa is displayed in movies! The people here are the most friendly people i have ever met! I really love it here!
The staff here planned for us to come a week later so we were a bit of a surprise...so we haven't exactly started much ministry. But some UK high school students were here the past week and we got to build good relationships with them and share a bit of our testimonies with them! One guy who was agnostic in his beliefs told one of our team members that he is really open to Christianity and is seriously considering DTS after just hanging around us. So that was super encouraging!
We havent done much else, other then go into the town and "try" to bargain for good deals...the only great deal i have gotten is a sweet cain for my grandpa haha...i hope he likes it though, because he is rather picky about his cains.
Yes, i will try to update when our team gets into out ministry! But for now, love you all!
Oh and sorry if my last update ended abruptly, or at least that's what my mom said, i try to get straight to the point in these, which i think is appreaciated...haha sorry for calling you out mom, Love you! :)
