WEEK OCHOOOOO

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing, i miss you all very dearly, especially my grandma and grandpa, so if you're reading this...let's Skype soon!  We are just ending off week 8 here in Perth and outreach is approaching quickly and i am so stoked! we are heading up to the Kimberly in northern Australia for about 4 weeks and we have to take a four day bus ride up there...yikes (i hate car rides, uh oh). Yeah so our speaker this week was Robert Puya who is the leader of YWAM Bangladesh so it was super cool to see him and here his story and what YWAM is doing in other nations.  I also feel like God has really been giving me a heart for other nations, so i don't know what that means as of now but i am excited.

I have continued to press into the Lord during my time and it is just so amazing the things He has done! This whole week our topic was Authority and Submission.  this is a challenging topic for me because i have always struggled with respecting my authorities, especially my mum and dad (sorry guys...).  so yes the Lord has been testing me by putting authority figures in my life that i don't necessarily agree with but i know that i need to submit whole-heartedly!

God has been doing some awesome things in my life, this whole week i have really been struggling with spending money so it's awesome to feel God's presence when i'm about to buy something but i know i shouldn't so i need to put it back.  So yeah, also i have a SAWWEEET STORY to tell you guys...

This thursday my good friend Amada, that many of you know, went out for evangelism.  We were in Northbridge, a pub and club area of Perth, asking God to lead us to people to talk to and we came across this man.  At first he completely shot us down and walked away but then for some reason he turned around and was like "okay give me five minutes."  so we started talking to him and he was SO against everything we were saying, telling us that christianity is a lie and that what we believe is false.  Then he asked us why we think what we believe is the truth and starting being like "i want a sign from your god that he is real."  So we, both being 18 years old, were like okay let's pray, but he didn't want to have anything to do with praying.

All of a sudden this man came running up to us and was like "Are you guys YWAM, i was just on the bridge talking to this guy (another YWAMER) and all of a sudden the bridge started shaking and i don't believe in God but yeah i just wanted to tell you guys that."  and then he ran off.

so we were standing there like "oh there's your sign."  and this guy was still hard-hearted and didn't agree with what we were saying but yeah it was still cool to see how God does show up!

So yeah that's what's happening in Perth, hope you enjoy reading this! :)
