WEEK 4

Hey, Everyonneeee! I really want feedback from you guys, please write! Well, anyways these weeks are seriously flying by, it's so crazy. This past week has been all about Worship and Intercession. Now if you are like me and are thinking "what the heck is intercession?" fear not! I asked myself the same question at the beginning of the week, and i have learned a lot about it since. Intercession is basically waiting on God to speak to you what he wants you to pray for. So for example this week we had an intercession group of about 5 or 6 and were waiting on God. I got an image of a flickering light with darkness around it. 3 other people got very similar things to do with light. We ended up praying for God's light to shine on the churches in South Africa and especially for their leaders, it was really cool. I have been learning so much and this week just kept the fire going. One of the key points we learned about is how God only works through humans to get things done on earth. So whether we like it or not, we have a lot of authority and responsibility! Another thing that really struck me this week was the fact that worship needs to be 100%. Because God isn't going to respond to half-heartedness...and neither should we! It's so crazy every thing that has been happening inside of me here, it's so scary but at the same time, i love it so much! Other things that have been happening is this weekend i went to Freemantle(beach town) with some fellow DTS-ers and it was so fun! We had fish and chips and went to Cottosloe beach, such a relaxing and enjoyable time, God's beauty never ceases to amaze me. Also Erika and I had a sleepover at her house, and i brought one of my best mates Soy with. She is seriously so hilarious, i don't know if you guys know but she is the one in my profile pic....besides Gabi. We had a sausage sizzle for fundraising yesterday and it was good, but we didn't raise much funds for outreach. I really need as much funding as I can get, so if you guys are interested in supporting me, just email me at msimpkins94@yahoo.com. That would be so great! We still don't know where we'll be going on outreach, i think we find out in 2 weeks...I'm so excited! Other than that, I would love to hear from all you guys! love you all :)
